Cyprian Kamil Norwid : figures of youth

The article presented here concerns the early work of C.K. Norwid, in which the young poet and draftsman recalled the figures of the youth of Romanticism. They are presented as stereotypes of emotions (sadness, longing, regret, fear) and as museum exhibits viewed by the subject. He just stops and watches the exhibition of romantic states and emotions, sometimes gives them the owner voice. In the early works of the poet, the irony was already formed, which will become his basic writing disposition: distance to emotions and objects present in reality, an attitude closer even to contemporary post-memory than to the cult of the past contained in a memento and recollection.
