Respiratoterapia w praktyce logopedycznej

Niniejszy artykuł dotyczy opieki logopedycznej nad pacjentem z wentylacją mechaniczną. W pierwszej części autorki pokazują mechanizm oddychania oraz profil pacjenta, który wymaga respiratoterapii. Następnie zostają przedstawione funkcje wentylacji zastępczej. Po części teoretycznej opisano proces terapeutyczny, który uwzględnia higienę jamy ustnej, a następnie możliwość komunikacji z pacjentem, który jest poddawany respiratoterapii.

This article concerns the speech therapy delivered to patients with mechanical ventilation. In its first section, the authors present the respiratory mechanism and the profile of patients requiring respiratory therapy. Then, the functions of mechanical ventilation are explained. After the section on the theory, the therapeutic process is outlined, including oral hygiene, and the possibility of communicating with patients undergoing respiratory therapy.
