In conversation with Wojciech Kajtoch : Kraków, 12 and 18 March 2023

Wojciech Kajtoch is a humanist with extensive interdisciplinary achievements. Being an essayist, poet and literary scholar, in the 1990s he started working at the Jagiellonian University for the Press Research Center, where he developed his method of lexical analysis combined with content analysis. The first part of the interview covers Kajtoch's scientific inspirations starting from the period of his fascination with Russia and the literature of the Strugatsky brothers, the second part concerns the development of the method of lexical analysis of press content.

Wojciech Kajtoch jest humanistą o bogatym dorobku naukowym. Będąc eseistą i poetą oraz literaturoznawcą, w latach 1990. rozpoczął pracę na Uniwersytecie Jagiellońskim w Ośrodku Badań Prasoznawczych, gdzie rozwijał swoją metodę analizy leksykalnej powiązanej z analizą zawartości. Pierwsza część rozmowy obejmuje naukowe inspiracje Kajtocha począwszy od okresu fascynacji Rosją i literaturą braci Strugackich, druga część dotyczy powstawania metody leksykalnej analizy zawartości prasy.
