"… wszędzie rozbrzmiewa marsylski marsz" : echa Rewolucji Francuskiej w spuściźnie Rosy Marii Assing w Kolekcji Varnhagenów
A significant part of the Varnhagen Collection, which has been in Krakow since the Second World War, is the literary legacy of Rosa Maria Assing (née Varnhagen), poet and hostess of an important literary salon in Hamburg. This author spent her early years in Strasbourg shortly after the outbreak of the French Revolution. The aim of this article is to briefly present and discuss the traces of this historical event in the legacy of Assing, but also partially of Karl Augst Varnhagen von Ense. It is also intended to show not only material but also intellectual traces of the Revolution.
