Legislation to amend the abortion law is under consideration in the Sejm. The pending drafts are very different from each other, heralding a conflict, or at least many disputes, within the ruling coalition. A fallback solution, which could bring many benefits, would be the adoption of the law proposed by President Andrzej Duda as early as 2020.
