At the crossroads of art and religion : image consecration in the Pāñcarātrika sources

The text concerns the mutual relation of the religion and art in the Pancaratra Vaishnava tradition. On the basis of Sanskrit sources it presents ceremonies connected with the instalation and consecration of gods' idols in the temple.
