Problems of meme poetry : between digital carnival and hegemony of cultures
Internet memes - as "units of a cultural transmission, units of imitation" (R. Dawkins) - are nowadays very cognitively rewarding subject of research in the field of humanities. Starting with cultural studies and theory of communication through philosophy and literary theory to sociology and event political science. Main aspect of these products of contemporary (and digital!) culture is - beside communication and imitation - laughter. As M. Baktchtin wrote in his work on Rabelais, "laughter is maybe most important form of recognition of the world" and mems (mostly image with text) achieve that very significantly in digital enviroment of Internent causing great impact on almost every part of our life. As accurate hermeneutic of meme is almost improssible, studying them can lead to interesting conlusions: people use mem to vent the various emotions (love, hate, anger etc.) by laughing the source of them (people, events etc.) and communicating how they feel about it. All of the preceding can constitute valuable information about multilungual and multicultural user enviroment of Internet.
