Great Seym in the seizure of Wojciech Szczygielski

The monograph of Wojciech Szczygielski "Sejm Wielki Studium z dziejów łagodnej rewolucji" is the result of the research of the author, referring to the main issues of the Great Sejm. The importance of this work emerges recapitulation of thesis and findings done by Szczygielski. Few research questions are rising. The first is the terminology used in the study. There is the question whether we can say about mild revolution or coup d'etat? Another research problem is the nature of the mandate of a deputy on the basis of the law of the Great Sejm. Taking into account the above research questions we can conclude that the monograph is fruitful stimulus for historians which take up the issue of the Great Sejm. The further research on the form of the state system developed by 3rd May law seem to be inspiring and fruitful.
