Media immersyjne a kompozycja i dekompozycja sfery publicznej : wstęp do badań

In this paper the author attempts to present a theoretical research outline, in which she draws attention to the impact (sometimes unaware and undisclosed) of the development of immersive media on the contemporary mediatized public sphere. The premise of the considerations undertaken is the problem of decomposition of the public sphere in terms of the development of new technologies. The research hypothesis indicates the cyclical nature of the influence of different visual media on the evolution and change of the MediaPolis. With each single medium it is redefined, but the carrier of the most significant transformation is the image and the circumstances of its creation. Therefore, the starting point of the presented considerations, the Author made the idea of living pictures (fr. tableau vivant), and the point of arrival – widely understood immersive media.

Przedmiotem namysłu autorki jest próba przedstawienia teoretycznego rysu badawczego, w którym zwraca uwagę na wpływ (czasami nieuświadomiony i nieujawniony) rozwoju mediów immersyjnych (wizyjnych) na współczesną zmediatyzowaną sferę publiczną. Przesłanką podjętych rozważań jest problematyka dekompozycji sfery publicznej w aspekcie rozwoju nowych technologii. Hipoteza badawcza wskazuje na cykliczność wpływu różnych mediów wizyjnych na ewolucję i zmianę sfery MediaPolis. Z każdym medium definiuje się ją na nowo, jednak nośnikiem najistotniejszych przemian jest obraz i okoliczności jego powstania. Dlatego punkt wyjścia prezentowanych rozważań stanowi idea żywych obrazów (franc. tableau vivant), a punkt dojścia szeroko pojmowane media immersyjne.
