The chapter gives an overview of the situation of East Asian religiosities in Poland, where they form only a small proportion of recognised religious denominations. Among the 184 officially registered religious minorities, which include 2.2 per cent of the Polish population, only eleven represent East Asian religions, and two others are officially registered associations. Drawing on the limited statistics, we can estimate that they include circa 1300-1500 members. The most numerous groups among East Asian religiosities in Poland are those representing Zen Buddhism - there are eight registered religious denominations in this category. Apart from these there are also the Unification Church, the Meditation Association of the Supreme Master Czing Hai in Poland, the Taoist Union Tao Te King, and Falun Gong (the latter is a registered association). The chapter presents the history and activities of East Asian religiosities in Poland, discusses academic research and literature on the subject, and shows the challenges and fields of research that need to be explored.
