"Signs of relationships" and "existence signs" : self-narrations among youth-gangs members into urban spaces : interpretational perspective research in "Urban Studies" into resocialization

Niniejszy artykuł stanowi prezentację fragmentu wyników badań pochodzących z obszernego projektu związanego z badaniem miasta. Koncentruje się na aktywności członków gangów młodzieżowych w postaci praktyk miejskich graffiti. Stanowią one m.in. narracje o tożsamości miejsca i zamieszkujących go ludzi. Prezentowane badania realizowane są w paradygmacie interakcjonistycznym, a pochodzące z nich dane ujęte zostały w procesie metodologii teorii ugruntowanej. Propozycja stworzenia postulatów dla pedagogicznej praktyki skoncentrowana jest na nurcie „nowej pedagogiki resocjalizacyjnej” w środowisku otwartym.

The following paper encompasses the results of a few years’ qualitative field study concerning self-narrations of youth-gangs members in urban spaces. Some of these narrations bring up the subject of the identity of a given space and the identity of its inhabitants. The studies have been conducted according to interactionist paradigm theory and the obtained data was included in the process of grounded methodology theory. The proposal of creating postulates for pedagogical practice is focused on the “new resocialization pedagogy” in open environment.
