Tytuł pozycji:
Aurelia Wyleżyńska and her "Letters from Spain"
The article is devoted to Aurelia Wyleżyńska, Polish writer active in the 1920s and 1930s, author of novels, studies and over 300 articles published in Poland also during her long stay in Paris and journey to Spain. Her last novel, born of the Spanish experience, concludes her artistic reflection on femininity, feminism and feminist writing. Forgotten after her death during the Second World War, her name comes back – in new political, social and cultural contexts – in recent studies dedicated to feminine presence in Polish cultural life, so unappreciated for a long time. Key words: forgotten writers, literary canon, feminine literature, Polish literature in the 1920s and 1930s.
