Conservation palimpsest in the interiors of the Krauzowska tenement house in Krakow : educational example

The article presents and compares three fundamentally different conservation arrangements of rooms on the first floor of the Krauzowska tenement house - the seat of the Society of Friends of History and Monuments of Krakow at ul. św. Jana 12 in Krakow. The arrangements were developed based on the results of extensive conservation research - archival, stratigraphic , architectural and analytical. Due to its uniqueness and special educational values ​​- showing various conservation possibilities in one valuable and repeatedly transformed object - this place has become part of the program within the framework of education of architectural conservators at postgraduate studies at the Krakow University of Technology and appears on the trail of various specialist presentations.

Artykuł prezentuje i porównuje trzy zasadniczo różne aranżacje konserwatorskie pomieszczeń na I piętrze w kamienicy Krauzowskiej - siedzibie Towarzystwa Miłośników Historii i Zabytków Krakowa przy ul. św. Jana 12 w Krakowie. Aranżacje zostały opracowane w oparciu o wyniki obszernych badań konserwatorskich - archiwalnych, stratygraficzno-odkrywkowych, architektonicznych i analitycznych. Przez swoją unikatowość i szczególne walory edukacyjne - pokazanie różnych możliwości konserwatorskich w jednym cennym i wielokrotnie przekształcanym obiekcie - miejsce to stało się częścią programu w ramach kształcenia konserwatorów architektury na podyplomowych studiach w Politechnice Krakowskiej oraz pojawia się na szlaku rozmaitych specjalistycznych prezentacji.
