Contemporary cultural activity of Polish Studies students at the Jagiellonian University : a pilot study

Niniejszy artykuł prezentuje wyniki badań pilotażowych poświęconych aktywności kulturalnej studentów Wydziału Polonistyki Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego. Przeprowadzona ankieta miała na celu ustalenie motywów uczestnictwa studentów w różnych formach kultury oraz poziomu czytelnictwa. Wyniki uzyskano na podstawie badań ankietowych przeprowadzonych w 2023 r. na grupie 70 studentów II roku polonistyki na studiach licencjackich ze specjalności nauczycielskiej, edytorstwa oraz komparatystyki.

This article presents the results of a pilot study examining the cultural activ-ity of students at the Faculty of Polish Studies of the Jagiellonian University. The research aimed to identify the motivations behind the students’ partici-pation in various forms of cultural activities and assess their reading habits. The findings are based on surveys conducted in 2023 among a group of 70 sec-ond-year Bachelor’s degree students of Polish Studies specializing in teaching, editorial and comparative studies.
