The poetry of Seamus Heaney in Roman Sabos Polish translation

The paper examines the translation techniques of Roman Sabo, a Polish poet living in Vancouver in Canada. The author bases her analysis and siscussion on Sabo's translations of a select group of poems by S. Heaney. In order to arrive at the specifics of Sabo's methods, she juxtaposes his translationas with renderings of the some poems by Stanisław Barańczak and Magdalena Heydel.
