Teaching dilemmas in Romance studies

Philological studies have recently been experiencing a significant crisis. This article aims to explore its main causes, the evolving profile of French studies students, and the associated dilemmas and potential solutions. We begin by discussing the necessity to introduce courses for beginners in French studies, then address the challenging relationship between academic programs and employers' expectations, and conclude with an examination of teaching methods for traditional philological subjects.

Niniejszy artykuł ma na celu zbadanie jego głównych przyczyn, zmieniającego się profilu studentów romanistyki oraz związanych z tym dylematów i potencjalnych rozwiązań. Rozpoczynamy od omówienia wprowadzenia ścieżki dla początkujących studentów romanistyki, następnie poruszamy trudną relację między programami studiów a oczekiwaniami pracodawców, a kończymy analizą metod nauczania tradycyjnych przedmiotów filologicznych.
