The availability of social services in analyzed gminas

The purpose of the chapter is to show how local centers are assessed and what activities were possible thanks to the possibilities of informal learning context. The analysis uses data from the study of LOWE's participants (n = 346), in which, in addition to quantitative study, also in a qualitative way (by associations) an attempt was made to identify aspects of being active in these education centers. The results showed that half of the respondents continue to use or know the offer of operating Lowe and participate in activities. Activity in these institutions is associated with other activities (social, professional). They are recognized as a place of development, science, knowledge of integration. Research allows to indicate practical solutions for further supporting the idea of ​​Lowe. Research participants have found the significant importance of Lowe and their activating the local community functioning. The value of this study is the combination of quantitative data of the scale of positive assessment of participation in Lowe classes with quality data - statements that allow to understand the context of the assessment and benefits of activity thanks to Lowe.
