Przywrócić pamięć harcerskiej myśli pedagogicznej

W artykule podejmuję problem skautowej myśli pedagogicznej, której naukowy wymiar nadali uczeni i wybitni instruktorzy skautowi/harcerscy w okresie II Rzeczypospolitej. Odkrycie po kilkudziesięciu latach ich rozpraw pozwala dostrzec ogromny wkład badaczy i analityków specyfiki skautingu/harcerstwa do światowej humanistyki. Odpowiadam zarazem na pytanie, czy możliwa jest naukowa subdyscyplina - pedagogika skautowa/harcerska w ramach nauk o edukacji oraz jakie znaczenie mają w tym zakresie polskie dokonania.

In the article, I focus on the scouting pedagogical thought, which was given the scientific dimension by scholars and outstanding scout leaders during the Polish Second Republic. The discovery of their dissertations after several decades allows us to appreciate the considerable contribution that these researchers and analysts of scouting made to the world of humanities. At the same time, I address the question of whether scouting pedagogy may become a scientific subdiscipline within education sciences and I analyse the significance of the Polish contribution to this field.
