Drugie życie baśni : memy w krajach byłej Jugosławii jako manifestacja poglądów i uczuć

The humanity always wanted to know the answers to questions that could not be explained by the laws of nature or everyday life in a society. Over time, with the help of conjectures and folk beliefs which have evolved through generations, people were creating stories where reality began to function on a par with the supernatural world, magic and activities of unexplained forces. In accordance to such a mechanism, folklore became enriched with the concept of a fairy tale, the universality of which allows to reuse well-known fantastic elements – both in broadly understood texts of modern literary creativity and virtual reality through the implementation of e-folklore (mainly due to internet memes - especially important in the context of this article and their functioning in the republics of the former Yugoslavia).
