Osadnicze "rozpoznanie bojem"? : zaginione średniowieczne wsie ziemi muszyńskiej

The article concerns a group of abandoned medieval villages founded in the environs of the town Muszyna, which were mentioned in an interpolated charter of the King Władysław Jagiełło originating from the year 1391. Analysis of the contents of the aforementioned document, and of the historical and geopolitical context of the rural colonization of the Muszyna region made it possible to approximately localize and characterize the deserted localities, and to discuss the question of possible reasons of their abandonment.
