Change is an intrinsic aspect of the structure of the virtual world. Everything that is solid, reliable and fashionable today, quickly turns out to be useless, unmatched to our needs, and ineffective. This is happening in all aspects of the functioning of the global network. Such dynamics make it difłicult to generalize, and therefore explain, wider phenomena. This text addresses the issue of creating a virtual micro-world of contemporary teenagers using the example of prosumer activity on YouTube. This is a website that has been gathering an increasing number of users sińce 2005. YouTube has changed sińce its creation, and its users have changed along with it. Contemporary teenagers create this world according to their principles and their needs and thus construct a new space. Science, entertainment, personal development, competition and humour are just a few of the basie spheres in the YT (YouTube) realm, around which an interesting community has formed, whose activity extends beyond the kilobytes of data stored in the cloud. In the text the author attempts to describe both the participants of this world and the contents made available to them, which constitute the materiał dimension of the created culture along with its associated norms and values.

W strukturę świata wirtualnego domyślnie wpisana jest zmiana. Wszystko, co dziś jest stałe, pewne i modne, szybko okazuje się nieprzydatne, niedopasowane do potrzeb i mało efektywne. Tak dzieje się we wszystkich aspektach funkcjonowania globalnej sieci. Taka dynamika powoduje, że trudno jest o generalizacje, które tłumaczyłyby szersze zjawiska. Tekst podejmuje problematykę tworzenia wirtualnego mikroświata współczesnych nastolatków na przykładzie prosumenckiej działalności na portalu YouTube. To portal, który od 2005 roku skupia coraz większą rzeszę użytkowników.
