Changing organizational culture from the perspective of functionalism
The problem of managing cultural change happens most often considered from the perspective of functionalism. The concept of change differs depending on the adopted management paradigm. Researchers do not agree on the problem, which classification paradigms should be apply. Some opt for change management linking with schools or trends of thought organizers, and others seeking paradigms that are specific to the particular change management, as exemplified by the dichotomy of evolutionary change (continuous) versus revolutionary (radical) eg Greiner.
There are also attempts to integrated change management approach that takes account of the different cognitive perspective. In the study, the interpretation adopted by indicating the relationship of change management paradigms of the social sciences, and thus seek the widest point of reference.
