The purpose of this study is to examine the meaning of workaholism, the subjects' exposure to addiction and the impact on human health. The analyzed issues were related to the characteristics of work involvement and workaholism, as well as the dangers of addiction. The theoretical part of the work was written based on scientific literature, specialized journals and information available on the Internet. However, for research purposes, a survey questionnaire was prepared and filled out by 100 people who meet the age requirement (up to 35 years old) and who have already dealt with their first job or are professionally active. As a result of the research, all the hypotheses established were confirmed.
