This paper deals with the concept of systemic risk which arises in the banking sector and can be spread to the entire system. In the context of financial stability, micro - and macroprudential types of banking regulation are described. The features of the systemic bank crisis, identification of their factors, the causes of the banking crises and mechanisms of overcoming crisis are considered. This paper also described the concept of a systemically important bank and the factors which characterize systemically important banks are analyzed; investigate the influence of systemically important banks on the banking sector and identified regulatory tools of systemically important banks, which will help to solve the problems of banking management.; Pokaż więcej
