The theme of the work is a reflection over the evil in the novel Heart of darkness by Joseph Conrad Korzeniowski and the Apocalypse now: Redux, directed by Francis Ford Coppola. Introduction includes a brief description of the meaning of the concept of evil in general (wide range of related contexts and different ways of presenting it). The analysis include imagery of evil and morality gradual change of the main characters. The labor recalls the basic information about the biography and works of Joseph Conrad and Francis Ford Coppola.The chapter on the analysis of the film is preceded by a short introduction to the issues of film studies and film adaptation.
