STRUCTURAL CHANGES IN THE FINANCIAL SYSTEM OF A COUNTRY: CASE STUDY – BANKING SYSTEM OF UKRAINE
The successful development of any country depends on its economic growth, which is impossible without a developed and structured financial system. Banking system is an extremely important part of the financial system of any country. The detailed analysis of the main indicators dynamics of the banking system of Ukraine functioning was made in the article. The authors researched the main trends of the European Union banking system development. The key steps of the banking system of Ukraine reformation were outlined in the paper. The authors presented the rating of the most stable banks operating in Ukraine. The list of the international financial holdings, which have their subsidiary banks in Ukraine, was outlined and the factors ensuring them the top positions in the rating table were presented in the article.
